Welcome Everybody to my new reviewing series, starting off with Lerche's Unbreakable Machine Doll. Highly unusual anime as it is rated at R+ because of the obvious mild nudity. Spoiler people, you see breasts. Frankly, you see worse in the other shows but I won't start a rant about it now.
This series was originally a light novel, made into a manga and then eventually made into a 12 episode anime series. However, it makes me rageeeee. why? because it is a waste of time watching the anime, 1 part takes 4 episodes long and then at the end, you are left with a bunch of questions. They show you so much in the theme song but barely any of it results in the anime. For fans waiting for a Season 2? Don't count on it.
We all know what happens when a book becomes animated or made into a movie, we end up getting get bits taken out and thrown away for more exciting plot twists. However, Lerche, already well known from Daganronpa, seemed to have forgotten this and the plot itself was dull and kind of repetitive. I can understand with the introduction of the RWBY series that 3D fighting has become more popular and easier to do. But the plot was so typical and boring, along with the sub-characters. It all became a little mainstreams, except for the fact Yaya was stripping every episode.

Anyways, the main characters themselves where pretty good. Yaya, which the title of the show eludes to, is super powerful fighter automaton that holds quite the fun, bubbly and would say... psycho girlfriend attitude. not that i would know that... <.< >.>, She's powerful, average intelligence and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Though she could tone down a bit with jealousy to random girls.
Raishin Akabane, we only get a fragment of his past in the anime but its a pretty sad and messed up one. He comes to the academy to become Wiseman and defeat the killer of his clan. Only to find he is second-to-last worst student in the school, so he must fight and earn his way up into the top 100 to gain entrance to the Wiseman tournament. This Tournament give one lucky student a lifetime grant to do anything they like in anything they pursue whilst also being above the law.
So Overall, Plot and length of the season was pretty disappointing whilst I actually enjoyed the craziness and weird antics of Yaya and Raishin. I would recommend it as just something silly to watch but the R+ rating is kinda stupid because its like a normal harem anime.
